Each package of Sculptra® contains two vials, each filled with a dry substance. This mixture includes 150 mg of poly-L-lactic acid, 90 mg of sodium carboxymethylcellulose, and 127.5 mg of pyrogen-free mannitol.
Before use, Sculptra® needs special preparation. It's diluted with 9 ml of liquid, consisting of 7 ml of sterile distilled water and 2 ml of lidocaine. After mixing, the solution should rest for 24 to 48 hours to ensure it becomes uniform before injection.
